On 28 December 2015, Navy defeated ACC Pitt 44-28. It was wonderful to watch Keenan get the record, see the triple option executed to perfection, and beat a team that has rubbed Navy's nose in the dirt (at times). A distinctly different, but Navy tough 2016 team followed with a great season.
Does the 23 December 2016 #1 C-USA Louisiana Tech game portend anything for what will be a distinctly different (IMHO) Navy tough 2017 team? All teams approach bowl games differently, but one needs to go back to 2014 to the last time Navy lost three in a row. How critical is this game for Navy football external and internal identity?
