Off topic, I know. Have a "cousin-in-law" who is finishing Plebe Year and I asked his mom if he has his Youngster Cruise assignment yet. I've been advising them over the last year-plus since they had no experience with USNA. She said he has "first block" in Norfolk in June.
Do any of you know what's changed for summer training from back in the day? Used to be a ship assignment Youngster year, Second class summer was YP cruise and sequential weeks in Dam Neck (SWO), New London (Subs), Quantico (Marines) and Pensacola (Aviation). Then First class cruise (Med on AE Mount Baker for me).
