Two contributions.
I regularly wear the Jolly Roger cap that bags gave to me.
So, today at the airport in the CLEAR lane the host started making pirates sounds like arghh, garr, yarr, etc. When he finished photographing my eyes, I asked him "What do you do with a drunken sailor?" And he started singing it for all the lined up travelers to hear. Some joined in. Even TSA enjoyed it.
People really like the cap.
The other happening two days ago is I was recruited by USMC for JAG. Unfortunately for the 1st LT who sent it to me, he had not looked at the Bar Numbers. If he had he would have seen that I am nearly double the 36 years old cutoff, having practiced 37 years and counting. So I wrote back and explained that although I have some Marine and Navy family members and a lot of military friends, active and retired, I probably could not pass the PT.
I offered to take a couple of cases as a volunteer. I do not think that will happen.
