National rankings: Navy #1, Army #5, Air Force #18; traditional powerhouse Cal #4
Unprecedented Success This Fall!
Both Men's and Women's Varsity Rugby teams certainly had unprecedented success this past fall season! The men finished the season an undefeated 11-0 and ranked #1 in the nation for the first time in our storied history! Not to mention a solid win at home over an undefeated Army team. The Women finished strong as well repeating as the CRAA Division 1 Champions with a 61-28 victory over Utah State! The "With You" dinner and Hall of Fame induction ceremony were also highlights of the fall for NRAA.
The Men's spring season is up on the Navy Sports website. Headlining the spring calendar are games against Cal at home, a return trip to Army in New York and the first round of playoffs here at the Prusmack Rugby Complex! Tentative plans are in place for official NRAA tailgates on March 11th for the match vs Cal and April 15th for the D1A Championship Playoff.
