Officials are set to pass a 1-year waiver next month to immediately expand the 25-man FB signing limit, sources tell @SINow. Coaches can replace up to 7 players who leave for the portal. Max signing # would be 32 (25+7). I wonder if this will hurt Navy at all with more kids having more options elsewhere. Currently Navy does not have a limit, but may have a few kids that now can go somewhere else, if they choose that offer instead of ours. I know we usually get a special type of player that wants to serve, but also we probably get a few that almost went somewhere else but no scholarships remained in a class. Thoughts?
