If you know someone who was housed on a military base between 2013 and 2019 operated by Balfour Beatty, that person and family should contact the chain of command for a claim form for damages. NAS Key West was one location. I will look for more.
It was a case filed by the Feds under the False Claims Act for defrauding military services regarding housing conditions.
It is case number 1:21-cr-00742-EGS in the District of Columbia.. Typically a detailed form will be required which is off putting to many.
The amount ordered in restitution is $31.8 million. It will be distributed according to claims made.
